Daisy's babies a bit more....

Daisy's two kids are so cute! We were blessed because Sunday was a warm day and Daisy delivered on the clean grass. Always willing, Rose escorted the other goats into our smaller pasture to give Daisy some room. Just one half hour after the deliver was completed, Daisy and the two babies were standing and playing in the big pasture. Isn't it amazing how quickly they are able to stand? Daisy spent much time cleaning up her babies and herself and she talked to her playful babies the whole time. God is so good. We do so enjoy watching these amazing events.

April 2010- Daisy's new arrivals

On Sunday at 3:10pm the 25th of April Daisy gave birth to two babies. The boy Bubby came first and the girl Amelia came next. Amelia has the wattles but sadly Bubby does not. Wattles are flabs of skin that are unique to Toggenburgs. The birth was kind of a surprise because we did not think that the babies were coming that day. The babies are doing well and are running about in the stall. We let them out a couple times yesterday and they just ran around there mother. They are almost three days old. They love climbing on things especially on people if they lay down.

We are expecting Lily, Daisy's first daughter, in a couple of hours or days to have her babies. It is really close.

Last night, we stayed in the van near the stall to make sure that Lily didn't need our help.
